10.01.2012 - Kittens

Kittens-page updated! New pics of the kittens added! :) The two lovely, charming, playful and irresistable boys Bixi and Bambam are still available! ;)
All kittens doing great, last week they got their first vaccination and they didn't say a word about it, they were just curious and wanted to go and investigate ;) They are all playful, lively, energetic little rascals and also cuddly, sweet, adorable little cutiepies!! :)

20.12.2011 - Showresults - Kittens - Merry Christmas!

Showresults Turku 26-27.11: Luna and Raider participated only on saturday and they both got their second CACIBs, so a trip abroad awaits them next ;) Figaro got his honor prize both days and was Nominated for Best in Show on saturday!! ;) On sunday the cat that was nominated is a incredibly successful cat so he lost to the best ;) Safiira also of course got her honor prize both days and also was in the nom-selections :) A fun weekend :)

The kittens are growing fast and are now 7,5 weeks old :) They are doing great and are adorable, charming, lively, playful little rascals ;) Their names will be FI*Dezzicat's Burlesca BeaCurl (ACL f 03 girl), Brilante BixCurl (ACS ns 03 boy), Burlando BuzCurl (ACS ds 03 24 boy) and Bravura BamCurl (ACS ds 03 24 boy)!! ;) As with the A-litter, their names come from classical, italian musical terms/commands, see the kittens' page for the meanings ;) Two wonderful families have been waiting for these kittens since summer and Bea and Buz are reserved to them :) Bix and Bam are still available! ;) I add new pics of the little ones whenever I have the time ;)

In a few days we have Christmas Eve, we are going to enjoy a peaceful christmas and me and all the cats wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! :)



04.11.2011 - WE HAVE KITTENS!!!!!

On saturday afternoon 29.10 Priscilla gave birth to 4 beautiful, healthy kittens!!! :)) 3 boys and 1 girl!! Black tortie bicolour girl (seems at the moment to be without pattern) (birthweight 96g), black bicolour male (tabby/spotted but pattern color not visible yet) (birthweight 96g), redsilver(?)spotted bicolour male (birthweight 90g) and redsilver(?)spotted bicolour male (birthweight 108g). I have my ideas of longhair/shorthair, but they are just rough guesses at this point, so I'll get back to the coat length when they have grown a bit...The delivery didn't take long and everything went well! Priscilla is well and has been a great and proud mother from the start and is taking great care of her little ones!! :) The kittens are eating well and growing fast, today they are 6 days old and have doubled their birthweight! ;) Take a look at the kittens-page to see photos of the adorable cuties!



15.10.2011 - Photos - Animal event - Newspaper - KISSA & Osikatti magazines - SOON KITTENS!!

- Now I've added the beautiful photos latvian photographer Tessa took of Figaro and Raider at Tampere catshow in September! They are absolutely gorgeous!! :) Check them out on Figaro's and Raider's own pages!

- Last saturday (8.10) Vaasa animal protection society arranged an animal procession in honor of the international animal week. 3 ponies, 70 dogs and a couple of cats participated in the march that ended on the square in Vaasa, where also 10 cats of 7 breeds participated in the event! I was there, supporting this event with Gibson, Tryffel, Figaro and Luna! :) The boys where in their big showcage in the back of our car and Luna cuddled satiesfied in my lap the whole time, playing, eating treats and getting attention from people ;) There was also a competition in guessing the cats' breeds ;) It was a warm and sunny day and lots of people came :)
- Vasabladet newpaper did a story about this event (9.10.11) and me and Luna are also in it! ;) A cute pic of us and some text ;) The photo of us isn't visible on the net, but a part of the text about us (not the whole thing), is readable here! :)

-Guess what, Priscilla's photo (one of them on her page) is on the COVER of the latest issue of KISSA-lehti (4/11), the magazine of Suomen Kissaliitto - the Finnish Cat Association!!!! :)) Which means this is the largest cat magazine in Finland, that practically all cat people get!! Wow, this is like a once in a lifetime thing, I'm sooo proud of my little covergirl!! ;))
In the latest issue of Osikatti-lehti magazine (3/11) (Finnish Ocicat association's magazine) Tryffel has "himself" written an about 3 page story about himself, in honor of him, achieving the highest title Supreme Premior ;)

- Expected birth date for Priscilla's and Raider's kittens are approaching!! :) Priscilla is doing great, eating, eating and eating, and is now more and more calm, not so lively and acrobatic, taking it more easy :) Her weight is rising very, very rapidly now and belly is growing and growing ;) And I can now feel movements of the little ones in Priscilla's belly! ;) About two weeks left now ;)



01.10.2011 - Show results - Newspaper - Kittens on the way - Photos

- Kokkola showresults 24-25.9: Figaro got his Honor Prize both days and was Nominated for Best in Show on saturday! :) Own breedings Luna and Raider graduated to Champions on saturday!! :)) On sunday they both got their first CACIB and Raider was Nominated for Best In Show!! :) Luna was close to nom both days, it was really tight competition in all these Nom-selections both days! ;) A really fun weekend! :)

- Keskipohjanmaa newspaper did an article about the show and me and Figaro are in it! ;) A big, big photo of Figaro is on the cover of the newpaper 26.09.11!! :) Plus a few rows of text and inside the newspaper more text about the breed, from when they interviewed me ;) The pic and text that was on the cover of this newspaper can be seen here! :)

- Priscilla's pregnancy is proceeding well! She is doing fine, eating a lot, gaining weight all the time and her belly is growing and growing ;) The kittens are expected to be born about 30.10! :)

- I am still waiting for the studiophotos taken of Figaro and Raider, but I will add them here when I get them :) I have added a fresh showphoto of Luna to her own page :) I've also added one more photo from the cats' outdoor enclosure to the page with pictures from our home :)



17.09.2011 - We are expecting kittens!! - Show results! - Photos - Cat presentation days - A-litter 1 year old!

- Priscilla and Raider had a date in the end of August and now my beautiful girl is showing signs of pregnancy!! :)) If everything goes well, kittens are expected to be born in the last days of October!! :)) Many different colors are possible and both long- and shorthaired kittens ;) I will be back with more info when the little cuties have found their way into this world :)

-Tampere showresults 3-4.9: After more than 9 months since his last show, partly retired Figaro returned to the show arena as the playful diva and star he is! :) Finland's Best Curl 2010 has still got IT ;) Figaro got his Honor Prize both days and he was Nominated for Best in Show (Tuomarin Paras) BOTH days!! :)) "what a beauty", "without a doubt, this cat!", so incredible, perfect, marvellous grooming and presentation!" some of judge's words ;) In the panel he got one vote. Figaro is unbelievable! :)) Own breedings Luna and Raider participated for the first time in open class and both of them got CAC certificate both days!! :)) ALSO, Luna was Nominated for Best in Show BOTH days!!! :)) (one vote in the panel) and Raider was Nom for BIS on sunday!!! :)) Such success and so young they are!! Incredible cuties ;)) Luna is such a playful, sweet beauty and Raider such a kind gentleman :) I am soooooo proud of all my babies!!! :)

- Latvian photographer Tessa was at the catshow and I took studio photos of Raider and Figaro! :) I don't have any of Raider from before, Luna I took Tessa studio photos of in May. I have studio photos of Figaro, but I had to take new ones of my diva :) I will add the new photos to Raider's and Figaro's pages as soon as I get them ;)

- Saturday 6.8 Royal Canin truck was in Vaasa and I participated in the roadshow with Gibson, Tryffel and Luna! ;) Lots of people came and admired the cuties ;)
- Saturday 10.9 Royal Canin had a catday at local petstore Vaasan eläinkeskus and I was there presenting my cats - Figaro and Gibson were charming people, moving around in a leash, Figaro laying on the counter supervising people's purchases ;) Tryffel impressed people hanging on my shoulder, around my neck ;) Luna was satisfied lying in my lap almost the whole day, while I was standing, she melted soooo many hearts ;) Säde was also with us, who showed her beauty mostly from inside the cage :)

- Friday 9.9 my A-litter turned 1 year old!! Happy birthday Romeo (Adagio AxeCurl), Awa (Amoroso AwaCurl), Raider (Allegro AceCurl), Luna (Amabile AyaCurl) and Ilmari (Animando AirCurl)!!!!! :)) All absolutely wonderful cats with the best of homes!!! :)



23.07.2011 - Showresults!! - Photos - Kitten plans

-Kempele showresults saturday 2.7: Tryffel: CAPS SP BIV, which means he graduated to the highest title SUPREME PREMIOR!!!!! :))) and was also Best in Variety (Värin Paras)!! :) We had a graduation party for Tryffel with lots of bubbly to drink, chips, chocolate, candy, grapes and more ;) And Tryffel got beautiful ribbons and trophies and presents ;) Safiira: CACS (and second in NOM-selection) :) Priscilla: CAC :) ------- Kempele sunday 3.7: Safiira: CACS SC, which means she graduated to the highest title SUPREME CHAMPION!!!!!! :))) We had a graduation party for Safiira with lots of bubbly to drink, chips, chocolate, candy, grapes and more ;) And Safiira got beautiful ribbons and trophies and presents ;) Tryffel: HP BIV NOM BIS, which means he got his honor prize, was Best in Variety, Nominated for Best in Show (Tuomarin Paras) and finally in the panel BEST IN SHOW!!!!! :))) Priscilla: CAC CH NOM, which means she became Champion!! :) and she was also Nominated for Best in Show!! :) Luna: EX1 (and supertight competition in NOM-selection) :)  This was really an unbelievable, incredible weekend!!!! Sooooo many happy tears!!! ;))

-As a present from the show arranging association in Kempele, when Tryffel and Safiira achieved the highest title, they got to take studiophotos at the show for free ;) I also took photos of Priscilla. -Priscilla will have a date with Raider as soon as she goes into heat!! :) Now we are just waiting, waiting and waaaaiiitiiiing for her to get in heat..... ;)



24.06.2011 - Showresults and next show

-Siilinjärvi showresults saturday 18.6: Priscilla was first time in open class and got her first CAC certificate + was in NOM-selection and was very liked :) Youngsters Luna and Raider both got EX1 :) They had the same judge so in other words they competed against each other for the NOM-selection. The judge thought both were very beautiful and chose Luna to the NOM-selection (apparently only wanted one curl there). He really loved her, but this time another cat was nominated for bis, it probably was because this judge thought Luna was in the wrong color group, he did not think she has a white spot between her back legs.. ;) The eight other judges that has judged her has not said anything ;) But it is true that the white spot is very little and it was very visible when she was really little and darker in the other parts of her body, but now when her color has developed it is difficult to separate it from the silver color... It was a fun show and a good day we had ;)

-Next weekend I will go to Kempele catshow (Oulu) with Tryffel, Safiira, Priscilla and Luna (Luna only participates on sunday) :) Tryffel only needs one more cert and Safiira two more, to reach the highest title Supreme Premior resp. Supreme Champion, so hopefully they will get them and we will have a big celebration party both days ;)



05.06.2011 - Luna's photos! - Kitten plans! - More photos - Breed presentation - Coming catshows

- Now I've got the stunning photos of Luna that latvian photographer Tess took at Tampere catshow! They are so beautiful photos of my gorgeous little lady!! :) Take at look at Luna's amazing photos on her own page! ;)

- I've updated the Kittens-page with my plans :) As soon as Priscilla goes in heat after the catshow in Oulu 2-3.7 (which she is attending) she will have a date with Raider ;) I'll be back with more info...

- I've also added new pics of Priscilla and Raider, check them out on their respective pages! ;)

- Now I have finally posted a breed presentation of the American Curl! It is in Finnish but there are links to English breed profiles aswell. Take a look at The Breed ;)

- Our next catshow will be in Siilinjärvi 18.6 (only saturday) with Priscilla, Luna and Raider :)  After that I will go to Oulu 2-3.7 with Tryffel, Safiira, Priscilla and Luna (Luna only participates on sunday) :) Then we'll have a break ;)



20.05.2011 - Showresults Tallinn & Tampere

- Tallinn (Estonia) showresults: Saturday 7.5: Tryffel CAPS and Safiira CACS :) Sunday 8.5: Tryffel CAPS and Safiira CACS :) This was a very fun trip! :)

- Tampere showresults, the second largest catshow in Europe this year (after the WW-show): Sat 14.5: Safiira CACS, NOM for Best In Show!! :) Luna EX1, NOM for Best In Show!! :)) Raider and Priscilla both EX1 (and in NOM-selection)! :) On saturday I also got to recieve a Diploma on behalf of Figaro, because he was PIROK cat club's THIRD Best Neuter cat.II year 2010!!! :) Sun 15.5: Safiira CACS :) Luna EX1, NOM for BIS again!! :)) 11 youngsters in the panel, BIS-winner got 4 votes, Luna got 2!! ;)) Raider EX1 and he was at the same judge as Luna, so he competed against her in the NOM-selection and the judge sent the other cats away and chose between my two youngsters ;)) so in other words, Raider came in second after his sister ;)) Priscilla EX1 (and in NOM-selection) :) Such a big show and such success, I'm so proud and happy!!! :)) Catphotographer Tessa (from Latvia) was there, I took pictures of Luna and the photos Tessa took were so incredible amazingly beautiful!!! :)) I chose 4 of them and I will post them here when I get them ;) Tampere local tv-channel was at the show doing a programme about it and me, Luna and Raider also got to be in it ;) The programme is also visible on the net, watch it Here! We are found at about 4 min 20 sec and a couple of minutes forward ;)

- Turku showresults: Sat 16.4: Tryffel CAPS (and in NOM-selection), Priscilla, Luna & Raider all of them EX1 (and all in NOM-sel.). :) Sun 17.4: Tryffel CAPS, NOM for Best In Show!! :) Luna EX1, NOM for Best In Show!! :)) Priscilla and Raider both EX1 (and in NOM-sel.). Very nice weekend!! :))

- Seinäjoki showresults: 2.4: Tryffel CAPS (2:nd in NOM-selection, sooooo close to NOM!), Safiira CACS, Priscilla EX1 NOM for Best in Show!! :) Luna EX1 (2:nd in NOM-selection!) and Raider EX1. :) 3.4: Safiira CACS, Priscilla EX1 (close to NOM! got judge's "Special Award" - a statue, because she loved her so much! ;) ), Luna EX1 (again 2:nd in NOM-selection, soooo close to NOM!) and Raider EX1. :) Good weekend! :)

-Great results, I'm so proud of them :) And Figaro is absolutely incredible!! This diva is a super showcurl!! In the year 2010 he participated in 12 shows and was Nominated for BIS in 10 of them!!!! :)) One of them BIS and a few of them close to BIS...!! :)) So, he was by far the Best Curl in Fin!! ;)

08.03.2011 - Renewed website!! + petstore gig

- After 3,5 years with the old website layout, I have fiiiiiiinally totally renewed and updated my website!!! :)) A complete, total makeover!! Phuh, a lot of work, but I am really happy with the result! :) Some stuff are still under construction, but on the way... I will also add a link to the old news, if someone for some reason want to read them....

- Another thing - next saturday, 12.3, in cooperation with Royal Canin, I am going to be at a local petstore (M&M) with some of my cats, doing breed presentations and talking about my cats... ;) Come and visit! ;)
