Evita was the oldest cat in the house
and the wise queen. She was incredibly kind and sweet, couldn't
hurt a fly (litterally) and somewhat fussy... :) Evita was a calm old
lady that didn't do much more than eat and sleep with an occasional
playtime. She liked to cuddle and often slept beside my pillow in my
bed. She liked peace and quiet, but she was so super super sweet and
kind to all the other cats! Evita really loved fooood and outside her
normal menu, she liked to taste different things, and if mommy would
have let her, she'd probably done more than just taste them... :)
Evita aged really much in
2010, I could tell that her health was deteariating slowly more and
more...She began getting more and more health problems, in the end she
was really, really thin and skinny, she reapeatedly got respiratory
infections and fought against an eye infection that would not go
away...Although medication, her body was no longer strong enough to
cure itself from the infections. When she additionally also became
blind and the pressure in her eye was raised, she did not do more than
sleep in the same place all day and her health was quicker getting
worse and there would be no way back, I made the difficult decision of
following her to the rainbow bridge. Her body was not well for this
world any more and I wanted to do this last favour for her, before she
would be in pain and suffer! 3.12 we said our goodbyes and everything
went calmly and beautifully...
Evita lived a long and happy life
and that comforts me in my grief, but Evita followed me through many
different stages in life and it is sad and strange that she isn't with
me anymore, I feel great sorrow...Now Evita's urn stands beside
Sylvester's close to us in our home...I will always love you, remember
you and miss you, my sweet, lovely darling Queen Evita!!!!!!!!!!
